If you don’t like the over-sized, intrusive, ugly, poorly designed and clunky banner that Kinja has thrust upon us rather than fixing any of the actual problems, you can block it with Adblock Plus! Eat a dick, Kinja!

Edit: You do have to add it to your block list with the “block element” button. From there, just click the whitespace in the banner(it should look like the whole banner is highlighted) and confirm your selection.

Actually, on the desktop, you can block it like any other page element. The white space is still there, but there have been numerous occasions where I’ve hit the Tweet button when I meant to hit Publish. Now it’s hidden.
